Nice a haiga, Gabi.

The prayer of thanksgiving for the harvest, but with a little left over requesting fine weather till the grain be stored.
It resonates nicely.

Hi Gabi, nice combination here. I always think you should do more haiga ? ?
T.
Yep, - This is a terrific haiga - more, more!

"he" works just fine, Gabi.

And "he" could be the farmer or the crop....nice either way.
And the idea of prayer with the harvest is a universal whisper....
It is poignant for me to read this now here where the harvest has been minimal or nil and where the children are dangerously hungry because of it.

Gabi,
Lovely as is. It is harvest time here in New Jersey and every farm in the neighborhood has a farm stand up and running. The local fruits and vegatables are heavenly!

I like this very much, Gabi; and the photograph adds a lovely extra layer.

Lovely, Gabi san,
I can see him being thankful for the harvest, and now that I know he's over 80, I can see him also being thankful to be around for yet another harvest.
The photos are stunning, especially the terraced fields.
