Maybe consider alternatives to "ailing?"
What do they feel like, for
instance?
B.NY.
Thanks for your thoughts, B.
I feel ailing, as in "getting old and more fragile"
... maybe painful would also do it ...
I give it some thought !
And will do my exercises tomorrow morning and ask my knee what it feels ... grin grin ...
I love this haiku, Gabi.
One of your best.
It has humor, determination, addresses aging, and so much more.
Outstanding!

I whisper to my knees all the time... well, pray for them, at least! LOL
I wonder if yoga helps or hurts them? One way to find out...
All kidding aside Gabi, I like this ku a lot.

Brilliant, one of the best English language haiku I've read this year. An award winner for sure. .. and your form and meter are perfect.
