I love this, Gabi. It shows what you always encourage in your comments - an interaction between the human dimension and that of the larger natural world.
We're moving into winter here and your haiku reminds me of my mother hauling out the woollens in autumn, only to discover the moths had been busy. I'm going to try to write a haiku about that. I'll post it if I get anywhere.
Thank you, again, for a lovely moment.

YES Gabi!
You are on a roll!

Lovely, Gabi. Not only does it sound like a long, cold winter has played havoc with your socks, but also that your toes can't wait to get out and have a look at spring.

This is absolutely wonderful, Gabi.
A keeper for sure.

Terrific, Gabi san.
May you have lots of hole-less warm socks for next winter.

Yes Gabi, I know what you mean - I hate it when that happens to my socks, especially while they are still new, like the onset of spring.

Hi, Gabi san, this is one of the best spring haiku I have read!

I'm loving it, Gabi. Great moment captured!

Good one, Gabi.

This one warmly reminds me of Santoka. He often made laconic remarks about his destitution, and then laughed at himself afterwards. His strength of character is one I admire deeply.
