Hello,

Would anyone be willing to provide some frank, frighteningly
intelligent and stern criticism/feedback?

Best Regards,
Mu...

Hi Mu...

invisible haiku ...

But you can find some of my advise for haiku here

GABI

--

Ah but was the haiku invisible or non-existent?
Which then begs the question, can the same be
said for the "intelligent criticism"? ;-)

Invisible haiku follows:

I await your invisible intelligent criticism, Gabi.
Somehow, I know exactly what it will say!

(just playing around with Gabi -
who tirelessly maintains informative websites
which I refer to constantly -
check them ALL out!!!)

Hi hortensia

have a look at my invisible haiku below !

:o)

invisible haiku ...

also invisible

Can you make it visible ?
Some things are invisible, but existent in my mind
... like your own invisible haiku

Hmmmm...

Sound -- invisible
Smell -- invisible
Feeling -- invisible
Taste -- invisible

I would venture to say, Bashou's famous invisible haiku was about the
sound of water, perhaps, many of the not so invisible intelligent
criticism was "all wet"?!
chibi

but then again, if it was a play off of Basho, wouldn't lack of sound criticism be the deepest sound of all

Dear Facebook friends,
My cancer has metastasised to my bones with many tumours in my left hip. The prognosis is poor so I shall post rarely if at all.
I want you to know, you have been an inspiration - without you, my poems would not, could not exist.
With all the love in the world and then some...

just as I think
i can't stand the pain,
a blossom passes
and I cling to this life
while learning to let go...

I know I must give it back.”

Haibun - As A Wave

As A Wave

Sitting on the jetty, I can feel the stillness as a wave, having risen, crests -
then, falling, is silent, rolled back into itself.

How I yearn to roll back into myself, to merge with the ocean as a wave.

indigo tides -
a full moon
tugs at the tides

An Interview With Hortensia Anderson
by Robert D. Wilson

RW:
You've written more than one book of occidental poetry and have an international following. Your poetry is poignant, with the rare ability to reach inside a person's psyche, causing that person to react and think.

Take this example from your book, Trust (Fly By Night Press):

"Like an undercooked egg"
the surgeon said the boy
was ready to rupture right
on the table.

They had me in stitches
to keep me from bursting,
scar crossed forever
front and

Back on dialysis and dilaudid.

The nurse brings out
my demons. Christ
kills me. She says she's

Born again.
As if once weren't enough.

another sake --
the cranes on the porcelain
start to fly

the long walk home
after the funeral -
winter trees

handblown glass -
cirrus clouds curve
around the moon

Softly, the clouds slip
away from an azure sky
above Saint Mark's Church graveyard
an angel loiters
beneath a plum tree in bloom
petals fall on wings of stone.
