kemonomichi, the footpath of wild animals in our area ... this year, the badgers crossed the road from the forest to the field below, and left their dirty footprints all over the asphalt too after a night of rain.

Hello Gabi,
Where I was born (in the north of England) badgers were rare. Down here in the SW (where I now abide) they are actually so common as to be a pest!
However, the country road which leads into the village which bisects their nice folkways is well serviced with speeding humanity.
