  4. I have a little trouble with 'walk' and 'chasing', Gabi. One seems to contradict the other.

  5. love the contrast between red and green and the simple use of colour descriptors, Gabi.
If the 'chasing' 'walk' contradiction worries you, maybe

  7. Hello, Gabi san,
this works fine for me just as you wrote it.
For me, "chasing" and "seeking"'/"searching"/"hunting" have very different meanings. One, you can see the spots of red and are attempting to close the distance; the other, you can't see them and are looking for them, which seems a very commonplace idea compared to the former.

I also think "autumn" adds -- when our crimson rugosa roses (a native of Japan that has gone wild here) are in bloom, it is definitely spots (or swaths) of red among the green of summer.
