I love this, Gabi. It shows what you always encourage in your comments - an interaction between the human dimension and that of the larger natural world.
ReplyDeleteWe're moving into winter here and your haiku reminds me of my mother hauling out the woollens in autumn, only to discover the moths had been busy. I'm going to try to write a haiku about that. I'll post it if I get anywhere.

This one warmly reminds me of Santoka. He often made laconic remarks about his destitution, and then laughed at himself afterwards. His strength of character is one I admire deeply.
