A masterpiece, no doubt!

This one is not the day lily,
kanzoo day lily is here

The flowers last a bit longer than one day.
This year was NO rain or storm during her time of flowering, so she was especially beautiful .
The smell welcomed me every morning when opening the door !
And she had many little beetles visiting during daytime.
GABI
It is of course a Stargazer.
As I had written some years ago about "my friend"
"To me, she looks live an eleven-headed Kannon Bosatsu."
The daililies really blossom only one day, whereas my KANNON keeps a few "heads" for a few days (I am still hoping to catch her with 11 heads ...).

I remember seeing some of these and the reddish orange lilies too on a morning walk... we heard cicada... "kanakana"... ah... to return one day and coax ku from such a morning.
