ReplyDeletewith the Japanese Tea Ceremony, there are sooooo many do's and dont's, just like with haiku.
He wants his students (after learning the basics very thoroughly and hard) to forget all this and just drink their tea with all the natural dignity they can muster ... and enjoy !

This reminds me of what I read in one of J Krishnamurthy's book.

He says if we, human beings can die like a leaf, which just drops off in a dignified manner...
