Walk with me through the park 衆楽園 Shuraku-En in Tsuyama
It was a cold morning, cloudy sky, but the pond like a mirror.

Gabi, I don't think I've seen an ellipsis followed by 'and' before.
It gave me pause. Just what it's meant to do. I like this use. The ellipsis suggests those floating petals and then as you stare at the more obvious you see the reflection.
Really beautifully put together.
J.
I echo everything that has been said!
ReplyDeleteBeautifully worded Gabi, K.
What a sensitive haiku mind you have Gabi.
ReplyDeleteAlways great joy to read your work and enjoy your photos.

Gabi, this is lovely. Your pictures, as always completely enchant me. Your 'dragon branches' is a very catchy line. Before the photo loaded on this slow land line...I saw just what you intended. Then I looked at the picture:

ReplyDeleteWould that the world could see that photo!
Thanks to J's sensitive eye/ear to pick out your exquisite construction.... I am glad she did and that she shared it because I would not have picked it out, though it worked so beautifully when I first read your poem before the thread.
Thank you, thank you.
